VOLUNTEER STAFF

INTAKE COORDINATOR: DAVE MC LAUGHLIN
Dave has been in the social services and education fields all of his life. He has spent many years in vocational rehabilitation and is an expert in helping people in need to receive services. Dave brings with him a smile on his face and an ability to get things done for you. Dave holds a M.S. in Education, Graduate Certificate in Rehabilitation Counseling, and is a Nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC).

VILLAGE COORDINATOR: AUSTIN ERICKSON
Austin lives in the village of Unalakleet and is coordinating services in the remote villages of Alaska. Austin is the brother of Logan who inspired our organization, and is fully aware of the tremendous attributes of service dogs. Austin is pursuing his education in a Medical Career.

CHAIRWOMAN OF THE BOARD: KATHI FIEDLER
Kathi is the one who gave all of us vision and inspiration. She Chairs the Board of Directors and brings with her the experience of knowing special needs children and families. Kathi has spent her professional life in Social Work and teaching Special Education. She brings to our organization compassion for others and the ability to make dreams come true.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: LINWOOD FIEDLER
Linwood has spent his professional life in Social Work, racing sled dogs, and owning a sled dog tour business in Juneau. (Alaska Heli-Mush Inc.) Linwood has raced the Iditarod 15 times and has finished as high as 2nd place. He brings to the organization a strong sense of business skills as well as canine savvy. Linwood has been training under the direction of Sister Pauline and Shara Butterworth to transfer his skills with sled dogs to the service dog world.

These wonderful people give their time, energy and enthusiasm
to give this organization direction and purpose.

With out their help none of our aspirations to make dreams turn into reality would come true.
